There is some bug in the macOS code that makes it pick the wrong language if multiple languages are configured. The observed behaviour seems to be that the first non-English language is picked. The proper behaviour should of course be that English is picked if that is the user's first choice.

The fix is contained in GNU gettext 0.20.2 and 0.21.
