There are some problems with ssl and IE.  Have you tried anglemail (a drop in replacement for the phpgw default email app)?  You can download it from www.anglemail.com

Downloading attachments in MS IE does not work. It claims that the file does not exist.

I have tried the current CVS version and it does not work either.  I am using an ssl connection if that makes a difference here. Although there is no problem when I use Netscape or Konquerer.

I just noticed that this is only a problem with certain types of attachments. ie. .xls & .pl files will not download, but .png & .txt files have no problem at all.

I have included a screenshot of the error I see on Windows.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
