Hello Assaf!

I've finnally attached a .tar file (not tar.gz) with the files you wanted me to change.

- modbus_client.cpp (with its copyright statement)
- the banner_logo.png image changed to have an empty image instead my company logo.
- The readme file with the images license and copyright statement

Is it ok like that?

thanks!
Joa

ok!

If I attach the tar.gz file with the whole project nothing happens.

If I choose the modified README file of the project (for example) I can finnally upload it

There is something wrong?

Hello Joaquín,

When you add a new comment to this task (through the web interface), at the bottom of the page there is section "Attached files" which allows you to attach up to four files.

Clicking of the "choose file" button, selecting a local file,
then clicking on the "Submit Changes and Return to this item" at the bottom of the page should upload the file.

I have just tested the upload, it should look like this:
 https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?13422

Are you seeing different behavior?

Hi Assaf

I select the tar to attach, but when I select "send changes" savannah sends me to the "all tasks web" doing nothing

What am I missing?

thanks and regards,
Joa

Hello Assaf,

I've finnally made all changes you proposed me.

Take all the time needed to check it. And good point about logo image! :-D I didn't realize

What I've done is to add file, at the bottom of the page (I don't know if it is the procedure)

thanks!
Joa

Hello Joaquín

Thank you for submitting a new project to GNU Savannah.

GNU Savannah has several requirements for hosting projects:
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php
http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/HowToGetYourProjectApprovedQuickly/

To comply with them, few items needs to be addressed.

First,
Please add a copyright statement to:
   modbus_client/modbus_client.cpp

Second,
There are several image files in ./images .
The copyright and licenses information must be provided as well.
One option is to add EXIF information inside each file.
Another is to mention these images in the README file,
and specify who owns the copyright and what is the license for using them (the license must be a Free license).
Specifically, there is one image that looks like a company's logo.
Please note that if you include this image in the project with a Free license, it is implied that it is allowed to use that image and modify it.
Consider whether this is acceptable or not.

Please, let us know when these issues are addressed and we could continue with
the evaluation.

Regards,
 - Assaf
