Didn't notice the history, tx.

Does anyone other than the two of us ever look at this task list?  I was thinking of something inspirational for prospective contributors to happen across. I suppose in the unlikely event someone asked us for a roadmap we could point them here -- but savannah's styling and UX is fugly enough that even I don't really use it as much as I could.  It would almost be easier to check in a projects directory to the zile webpages cvs repo and manually run jekyll over it after each edit as part of the cvs commit process.

Dunno really, just thinking out loud.

The LibrePlanet page has a history, so you can find what I've removed from previous iterations.

How about using the Savannah task list?

Find a way to keep a reasonably up-to-date list of pending and current projects in the Zile community that would benefit from contributions, and hint at a roadmap.

There used to be a list here: http://libreplanet.org/wiki/GNU_Zile  but that one seems to have been truncated;  The GSoC 2014 ideas are here https://www.gnu.org/software/soc-projects/ideas-2014.html#zile but they are already somewhat out of date with recent progress.

This is the sort of think Jekyll would be good at, we'd upload the latest projects as a directory of markdown format files, and some stylesheets, and jekyll would automatically output a nicely formatted webpage from their contents.  Perhaps it's easiest to get started by doing just that offline, and uploading the resulting page to http://gnu.org/s/zile/projects.html ?

On the other hand, some sort of wiki would be better still, but I don't know that any of the infrastructure is in place to do that easily at gnu.org.
