Sorry, I didn't know wich was the policy to accept projects in GNU. When I send my project I didn't read something that explain it, but I didn't received any notification before your comments this days five months later.
I think that I could be wrong in the way that I start to use this Projects site, but I had very clear that it is a site to develop projects. My project is borning and that's the reason because I opened here an Item.

In the other side, I open  an account in SF because I needed a repository to upload my software and any site to upload a web site to offer it, too. I needed a friendly site to show my software to everyone that want to probe it. In this moment, thanks to SF I have some people interested in it, and I haven't other site to offer my software so simple as SF.

I assume my fault, because I didn't know SF and Savanna was no compatibles, and I assume my fault because I didn't look for enougth in this site to know it.

That's the reason because, now,I think that it would be better that I clear my Item and close this project (that never had been open officialy, yet). I think that you don't need my software because in this moment it have very bit to offer to your repository. Maybe in other time I will try again open a new project in your site, but before I will read slowly your policy and yor requeriments and I will be sure that every of them are fulfilled by my project in this moment; even no SF site support.

Sorry again, I have a last question: How can I delete my Item project, please?, Can you deleted?

Sorry for bother you and thanks for your attention.

Best regards,
German

Software".

>My plan using Savanna account was show my project (it is in Beta
>release, yet), looking for other people iterested in it and finally
>develop a free software to offer at GNU comunnity (Linux and Windows
>but specially Linux becasue I work with Debian Lenny).

Please refer to the operating system as GNU/Linux, remember than Linux
is only a kernel usally used along with GNU and that mix is called
GNU/Linux.

>If you think that Savanna is not a place for my project, please don't
>hesitate to say to me and I will delete it of your site, or if you
>want, you can delete it if you want.

Savannah is a place for free software project, The problem here is
than we do not want to be just a download mirror but the central point
where developing takes place.

In the usual project registration processes the developer send his
project along with a tarball. We review it to see if it comply with
the Hosting Requirements
https://savannah.gnu.org/register/requirements.php and if not we
inform of the nessesary fixes and when it are applied the project is
approved.

If you wish to use Savannah savannah as the main site for your project
then please remove it from SF and send us the tarball to do the usual
process.

PD: Unless there is a good reason for not do so, You should response
using the Savannah web interface: https://savannah.gnu.org/task/?9501.

Apologize the delay. Plese note than GNU Savannah Savannah is a
central point for development, distribution and maintenance of GNU
Software and other free software.

However, we do not allow to host your project on Savannah and
SourceForge at the same time, Savannah shouldn't be just a project
mirror. Your project development should happen primarily on Savannah.

How do you plan to use your Savannah account?
