Ah, apologies - how foolish of me - I didn't think of that.

I've removed OCamlMakefile from the project and written my own makefile by hand. Let me know if there are any further problems.

Thanks a lot,

Hello,

the whole project has to be GPL compatible and a license note must be on top of every non-trivial source file.

The problematic file here is OCamlMakefile, because it has a copyright notice, but no mention about in which ways the file is licensed.

I suggest you either ask the author to explicitly license this file GPL compatible or you look for/write a replacement.

Registration Details

  • Name: waudiocd
  • System Name:  waudiocd
  • Type: non-GNU software & documentation
  • License: GNU General Public License v3 or later

Description:

waudiocd is a command-line audio CD burning program. It takes a list of files (OGG, MP3, etc.) and burns them to a CD.

It is written in Objective Caml, uses MPlayer for audio file conversion and cdrecord for the actual burning.

It is, as far as I know, the only command-line audio CD burning program extant that accepts files in formats other than uncompressed .wav.

It is currently in a working but not-completely-finished state; future plans include burning video files to DVD also.

Other Software Required:

MPlayer (GPL, http://www.mplayerhq.hu/);
cdrkit (GPL, http://www.cdrkit.org/).
