Currently Crop's central coordinates (in WCS mode, when given on the command-line) have to be in degrees. When an input catalog is given, the sexagesimal to degree conversion will be done automatically as the catalog is parsed, but not on the command-line.

Corresponding source code
This task has been implemented in Commit cd39401fdc03, so I am closing the task.
The low-level fix above resulted in a similar feature in all the Gnuastro programs that accept coordinates on the command-line (from Crop to Match, Table, Query and etc), and also helped fix bug #61468. So I have renamed the title to fit the generality of the solution.
