As some additional background, the person who made the claim below about not following Unifont's extremely liberal, free licensing in making a custom version previously told me that if I refused to advertise on his website, he would discourage people from using Unifont.  I have no intention of falling prey to someone making such threats.

Piotr,

Subverting the licensing of the font is certainly not in keeping with the spirit of the license.  It undermines the intended protections of free software and really is a slap in the face to any community that promotes free software.  I do not wish to work with someone who has publicly stated an intention to subvert Unifont's licensing, or the licensing of any other free software.  Therefore, please do not correspond further.

Regardless of the law in your country, note that in at least one other European country, Germany, my understanding is the creator of a work never gives up copyright to that work--it can only be licensed, or non-exclusive copyright rights be transferred, but never be completely transferred away from the original author.  I have received that information in the past from Unifont and other free software contributors who are from Germany.

Lastly, please reflect upon the harm you intend to do to the free software community by an attempt to subvert free software licenses, both now and in the future.

Thank you,

Paul Hardy

Now that it is submitted, hopefully the entire contribution will be accepted. Either way I am making a public domain Autotraced variation with the contributions included, which won't be named Unifont due to trademark.

> Can the anonymous person who submitted this please email me at unifoundry@unifoundry.com?  As this is from an anonymous person, I do not know who you are and so I can't accept this contribution.  I would need to know who it is and make sure that person agrees to the licensing terms of the rest of Unifont before even considering whether to accept contributions or not.

Thank you,

Revised some of the box drawing characters for instance by removing the intersection pixel in the 256A and 256B glyphs (which makes it more consistent) and revised the slopes from 25E2 to 25E5 and from 1FB3C to 1FB6F and 1FB9A to 1FB9B (think of a direct pixel center rasterization of the exact versions of the slope characters, now it does match and the inverse character of each slope character is now a proper pixel inverse) and such.
Some characters are made halfwidth instead of fullwidth. The changes put the Subset2 character set (including MES-2, SECS, Subset1, WGL4, W1G, VSECS, MES-1 and IPA-MINI) all halfwidth. The changed width characters are put in a plaintext file.
