Thank you, Sylvain.

I think it makes sense to close this now, and if we notice other problems/regressions, we can open separate tickets for those.

Hi,

First, please note that you'll experience a regression in this area, as the CVS notification infrastructure and tools are superior to bzr's right now.

I added an hourly cron to send diffs about the trunk.  There's no immediate notification because there's no on-commit hook infrastructure.  There's no filter on branches or sub-directories in bzr_hookless_email.py as far as I know either.

In [1], Glenn Morris points out the correct list address
and asks a couple of questions:

Can we please have commit emails turned on for the 'trunk' branch in Emac's Bazaar repository?  The emails should go to the same place the old CVS commit emails did: 'emacs-commit{AT}gnu.org', I believe.

(Note that if the commit email system uses bzr-hookless-email, then information I've put in sr #106531 might be relevant.)

I'm basing this request on Stefan Monnier's conjecture that you already have the means to turn commit emails on.  He wrote: "The savannah people have some tool for it already, IIUC, so we should ask them to enable it for our Bzr trunk branch."  See here for the original message:
