Ineiev brought this to the mailing list.  Karl agreed.  I also agree.  And that has been done.  Ineiev got consensus and completed the task request.  You are now an admin for the project.  Congratulations!  Thank you for helping with the project!

I've tried that. However, as you noted, they've been inactive and no one has been replying to messages about the status of the project.

We're reaching the point now where, with new members wanting to join and none of the original admins replying, we need to either resolve this soon or move to another hosting platform within the next month or two.

If this isn't something the Savannah support team can address, then please let me know so we can begin the migration.

I have been a contributor of the sysvinit project, hosted on the non-gnu infrastructure, for about a year and a half. During the past year I have been, as far as I can tell, the only active member of the project. I don't think any other project members have been uploading commits, closing bug reports, or posting to the mailing list in the past 12 months.

I would like to get my account upgraded from Contributor to Admin for the sysvinit project so that I can update our project's website, clear out old upload links, and accept new members to the team.

With the rest of the original project members apparently inactive, is there a way for me to assume leadership of the project?
