Gnu Slip - Summary
This software is part of the GNU Project.
gSlip provides constructors, iterators and operators to support high level access to complex structures. The system is developed for use in embedded projects and enables strict memory control. In desktop systems the total space used grows as needed. Free space is reused without garbage collection. Arithmetic, logical and bitwise operations is done with list cells treated as primitives. User creation of special cells is supported allowing extension of base capabilities in application specific ways. Round-trip I/O is supported with ASCII (editable) files. Stack and queue primitive operations are provided. Sublists can refer to rather than copy a list.
