The GNU Hurd is the GNU project's replacement for the Unix kernel.
The Hurd is a collection of servers that run on the Mach microkernel to implement file systems, network protocols, file access control, and other features of Unix kernels like Linux.

We seek help in keeping the Hurd-specific parts of the GNU tool chain (mostly GCC, binutils and glibc) up-to-date in an environment where the tool chain is being advanced for the Linux kernel, as an example, and subsequently the Hurd-specific parts would need to be adopted to these advancements.
