Resume

I've been a hacker at the MIT AI Lab for over 20 years.  During that time I've developed and maintained the MIT Scheme programming environment; maintained our research group's computing infrastructure, including development of system-administration software tools; and developed mixed-signal VLSI chips and built a tool chain to support their design.

In the very old days I did some work on the Lisp Machine system and also helped develop the Scheme-81 chip.

More recently I'm working on software to streamline the use of laptops here at MIT, and also helping in an experimental redesign of the core undergraduate EECS subjects.

I've been a Debian maintainer since early 2000.  I have used and administered Debian systems since the 0.93r6 release.
