Item posted by Antonio Ceballos <aceballos> on Sun 04 Jan 2015 10:59:48 AM UTC.
I am glad to announce the release of version 6.2.0 of GNU Chess.
GNU Chess is a chess-playing program. It can be used to play chess
against the computer on a terminal or, more commonly, as a chess engine
for graphical chess frontends.
This release includes the following features:
- "Tighter connection" with XBoard by means of an engine file and a
logo, as expected by XBoard (>= 4.6.0).
- A simple man page based on help2man.
- Some minor fixes.
We are very thankful to all contributions and all kind of feedback.
