Indeed, this would greatly improve performance at initialization / update processes.

We have large datafiles (ICD10, proteins, procedures, ...) that definitely will benefit from it :)

We'll include it on 4.2.

PS: Savane used to have the functionality to convert a bug to a task... seems like the latest version does not have it (or I don't see it).. I will ask and get back to you... otherwise, we'll open a task on this.

Tryton has a grouped attribute[1] that can be used on xml files to create multiple records in a single call. That makes the import process faster.T

It will be great if gnuhealth can use such attribute to speed up the instalation process. I attach a patch that implements it.

Let me know if there is any other module that should benefit of such feature and I will update the patch.
