To reproduce, ssh into a NetBSD machine, ensure that ~/.nanorc contains "bind ^H cutwordleft main", run 'src/nano +12 NEWS' there, and type: <Shift+Left> a few times. Instead of backspacing several characters, it has deleted several words to the left. |
