Almost:) I've just retried, case checked and unchecked. Seems to be ok when it's checked.
But unchecked:
flag appears(resign) > if I ignore it and click back on a move, flag disappears (that is normal...the move is not complete); if I click on, dialog box opens ("Martin won X pts..."), I click ok >

then, if I click on the board, evthing's ok, next game starts; if, and the problem's here, I click back on any move of the game (with/without Analysis), then I'll be unable to start the next game of the match, unless I replay the cpu's resign move, click ok on the dialog box to confirm, play my move by clicking on the flag, then clicking on the board. :)

I received your answer to this one. So it is my understanding that this is an issue when that checkbox is unchecked, and when it is checked there is a scenario where offering a resign (and not accepting/rejecting but going right to analysis) produces the problem. This would be in line with what I can reproduce with regards to advancing the the next game. Is my understanding of what you are saying seem correct?

Just wanted to add...
«...it only does that when the cpu offers a giving up (white flag) AND I reviewed the game».
I hope everything is ok with my [two]reports and my answers, caus I could'nt answer directly in my mailbox (it was a «no-reply» address). :)

You're right!  This option for me is unchecked (because I like looking back on my game before starting a new one).

I've just retried... and I think it only does that when the cpu offers a giving up (white flag).

At first I couldn't reproduce this until I realized you are probably using an option I almost never have turned off. From your description I am assuming now that in Settings Menu/Options/"Game" tab that you have "start new games immediately" WITHOUT a checkmark?

If that is the case the issue you mention may have gone unnoticed because generally people have that option on. If you can tell me if it is on or off would help.

Thanls

Hi,

During a match, when a game finishes and I decide to analyse it ("Analyse game") and review it (by clicking on the moves I made), when, after that, comes the time to start the next game, it is impossible.

Then, the ONLY way is to click back on the last cpu's move, then "Game>Play cpu's move" (then opens the dialog box "...sure you want to discard current game?", click yes), then I play my last move, and then I can start the next game of the match.

If I don't "Analyse" and/or get back, it doesn't do that (just clicking on the board and next game starts).

I'm using the french version of the program.
