This is a feature request to utilize busybox code to further extend the available commands in grub2. In particular, I have the 'sed' command in mind, but many of the commands would be useful additions to grub's scripting/shell support.

Corresponding source code
We don't import non-GNU code when a similar GNU code exists (in this case coreutils). Also request for something that requires so much code has to be justified with good usecases, not just "would be useful".
