It looks like the account is working now, I tried to go to klangregen's profile page when he told us about it on IRC and got a similar error as him, but now it shows a normal profile page with one song scrobbled.

After successfull creation, activation of a new account and correct login i just get:
Fatal error: Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'ERROR SELECT * FROM Users WHERE lower(username) = 'klangregen'' in /home/librefm/web/data/User.php:58 Stack trace: #0 /home/librefm/web/auth.php(46): User->__construct('klangregen') #1 /home/librefm/web/templating.php(23): require_once('/home/librefm/w...') #2 /home/librefm/web/index.php(23): require_once('/home/librefm/w...') #3 {main} thrown in /home/librefm/web/data/User.php on line 58
It affects my account named klangregen.
I get this error on every page until i delete my cookies

Shouldnt be a browser bug, but tested with opera/firefox on linux machine
