Thank you for the patch. Fixed on svn with r11942.

Unfortunately, as Jordi already mentioned, this package seems to have many other severe problems so I don't know when it will be released.

Hey.

No, it's not really a fork. It's the same package hosted on svn. The hg version is just a mirror of the svn one, which I update irregularly.

I tried fixing fixed, but it's still not fixed. [1]

It compiles, but it fails most of its tests. I don't know what the problem is. There seems to be some demand for it, but apparently not enough for someone to step up and figure out why it's failing all of its tests. I don't really care about fixed-point arithmetic, so my own motivation to actually fix fixed is low.

[1] This package has the most fun name ever.

Last comment: in case you make a new release of the fixed package, please include doc/Makefile and associated files, such that it is possible to build the documentation from source.

In case Jordi Gutiérrez is lurking here: just after I submitted this bug report, I remembered that you have forked the fixed package. I am attaching below a changeset that applies against your Mercurial repository at hg.octave.org/forge/.

See also Bug #39178 for another problem related to the building of the documentation with texinfo 5.1.

A backslash is lacking in the docstring of fdiag in the fixed package. The patch below, created against the SVN sources, fixes the problem.
