When wanting to link the image
~/PATH/IMAGE.gif,
a tag
<postscript|../../PATH/IMAGE.gif>
is inserted into the TeXmacs source, where the ../../ are intended to
climb up in the file tree to the home directory; then the search
goes from there along the path to the desired image.

Now in displaying the image, TeXmacs assumes falsely that the file that
you are writing at the level of the home directory. It therefore tries
to climb up along the ../../ and after that cannot find PATH/IMAGE.gif.

This bug can be worked around by hand-editing the path to the desired
image, i.e. changing the tag to
<postscript|PATH/IMAGE.gif>.
