Looks like you've set automatic games to "off".
Enter the following command:
set auto game on
and save your settings, should solve it.

When I choose: "New... Match" nothing seems to happen; the board is setup for a new game, the message says "A new 5 point match has been started" but that's all, I cannot roll my dice nor does the computer roll its dice!

I did discover that I then have to choose New... Game (!) to get the match (!) started.
Is that the way it is supposed to be?
