In the (my) last added comment, the version of tmwin.exe was dated 4-April-2004, and it had the size 5.49 MB (5,763,072 bytes).

Here too tmwin.exe didn't run. It died after printing about 15 to 35 lines on a console, in Windows Server 2003. So it seemed to not run.

After a reboot of the operating system was done, it did run, and this was put onto the console window:

Invalid switch - "/".

in order to set up some TeX paths in the correct way.
This may take some seconds; the result can be found in

I have downloaded and installed the windows port, rebooted, but can't start the program. A command window appears, but it disappears before I can read the error message.
