ok, the function change_other_name would be in class.contacts_sql.inc.php, but for some reason is not here, now i add a new function called change_other_by_owner for replace this.

please update from cvs and try again.

Correction, step 1. should read:

1. Admin->Addressbook->Edit Custom Fields

Reproducing bug on a 9.16000-1 install, using Mysql 4.0.17.

1. Preferences->Addressbook->Edit Custom fields.
2. Type a field name, click Add
3. Click done, takes you back to Custom Fields screen
4. Click on "edit" next to the new custom field
5. Type a new name, click Edit, get Fatal Error message.
6. Click back, hit done, field name has been changed.
7. Click on "delete" next to field name, get Fatal Error Message
8. Click back, click "done", field name is gone.

Can always look at class.uifields.inc.php and see if the change_other_name() function is there too.

I have tried several times to reproduce this and it works fine for me. I am able to add Custom Fields from the main Pref area and from within an edit. I have also deleted the custom field as well. No Errors works as it should.

Platform - OS X

Add a custom field in Addressbook, then try to remove it or edit it, get this white screen of death error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: change_other_name() in E:\916\phpgroupware\addressbook\inc\class.uifields.inc.php on line 592

However, when you go back to the Edit Custom Fields screen, the removal or the edit was actually performed.
