If you use the "other color" option while editing a table's background colour, everything applies correctly.

The problem arises when you try to export this document to HTML, resulting in a zero-byte document.

Runngin texmacs -d outputs the following:

/usr/share/TeXmacs/progs/convert/tools/tmcolor.scm:56:17: In procedure apply in expression (texmacs-error "stm->tmcolor" "Bad color name: ~S" ...):
/usr/share/TeXmacs/progs/convert/tools/tmcolor.scm:56:17: Bad color name: "#e89c8b"

When I changed that color to a "standard" one (orange), I was able to export my documento to HTML again.
