Hi Peter,

The 2d board has a fixed number of board sizes. What is happening here is that changing the move you're looking at is increasing the size of the panels on the right side of the screen slightly (as something you're looking at is a bit bigger).

This makes the board window slightly smaller, unluckily for you the board must have previously been maximized in the window and now is shown at the next size down (which looks quite a bit smaller).

Unfortunately there isn't any easy way to fix this problem, to work around this problem you can try:

  • Increasing the size of the gnubg window (or your windows screen resolution if the window is maximised).
  • Try the 3d boards as these resize to any window size.
  • Try the no-panel build as then the board window size is fixed (and the other data appears in separate windows).

Near the end of a game, when I press page-up a few times, the size of the game board (the wooden part) shrinks for no good reason.

Attached is a screen shot showing a shrunk board after page-up was pressed a few times. Normally, you should not be able to make the board so much smaller than the main window.
