We have never used grub.conf.
It's Red Hat-specific.

I originally had grub 0.93 and it used grub.conf, which is a sensible name in my view, because most other config files in linux end in .conf.
I just installed grub 0.94 and my system failed to boot.
It turned out that grub now looks for a file called menu.lst instead of grub.conf.
Why is this. Can we please keep the name "grub.conf" and get rid of "menu.lst".
