This usually happens when the LANG environment variable
is not set to anything. In that case, pnet uses the
default character encoding in libc, for which it doesn't
know the name. If you set "LANG=en_US", then WebName will
be set to something sane.

}
}

returns:

IBM437

but this same code on pnet returns nothing.
