Tue 13 Jan 2004 10:01:19 PM UTC, original submission:

I get email errors when inviting a group since the group name is not a valid email address

The problem area seems to be around line 806 to 836 in phpgroupware/calendar/inc/class.bocalendar.inc.php

The groups should be translated into user account entries and added to the $part variable if the user is not already there (I guess it could just overwrite the entry if it already exists)

That way editing the appointment will show exactly who is invited and other people can be added.

It will also work with email updates/notices

I think the line
$part[intval($parts[$i])] = $accept_type;
right after
elseif($acct_type == 'g')
{
should be commented out.

It leaves the group user id in the list of participants even though the individuals are added
