Case sensitivity will be an option in the future search/replace dialog.

The default "search" (C-s) is case-sensitive, which breaks the principle of least surprise: The habit in Emacs was that it is not case sensitive until an upper case character is typed, and the default in most other applications is to never be case sensitive by default.
