I not sure what "preloaded texmacs.lisp" refers to, I presume an init file sent to Maxima upon starting a session.

Everything seems to work as expected in linux with the present version of texmacs (1.0.7.15) and with Maxima 5.22.1 using Lisp GNU Common Lisp (GCL) GCL 2.6.7

Given the age of this bug and the absence of obvious problem nowadays I'm closing the bug. Feel free to reopen if I missed the point of the report.

I am experiencing the same bug, but only on FreeBSD systems (on a sytem running RH 9 everything is fine).

The filtered latex maxima output is printed on the xterm from which I launch texmacs, and is not processed hence does not appear in the texmacs window.

However, if I define a launcher and run texmacs from the launcher, everything works (though this is not a permanent solution).

Hope this helps.

Maxima with preloaded texmacs.lisp sends output to nowhere (not to stdout nor stdere), but somehow it gets printed to terminal. Plain Maxima works ok, so I think the problem is with TeX printing.
Error messages are printed ok, but ordinal output doesn't appear on terminal, but console (it doesn't even passed to maxima_filter)...
