Becaus of binairy files? Thats extremely far fetched, I hoped you'd come up with a better excuse.

Changing this behavior would mean changing the default backup regexp from having just .swp to .sw[a-p]. This would be a bad idea because of all sorts of binary files.

As users typically do not have multiple swapfiles at once, it is recommended that for the very few that do, they modify their regex locally in their {arch}/=tagging-method file and change \.swp to \.sw[a-p]

Vim swap file support is currently limited to .swp files; but if more then one swap file for a certain file is created this breaks. The following swap files end with 'o','n','m' i.e. counting down in the alphabet.

The attached patch is a good way to fix this.
