I just read this again ... are you talking about durring upgrades ? That wouldn't suprise me at all.

Durring normal ussage of the addressbook, it appears fine with a large database.

I just tested this with 30,000 contacts and there was no slow down.

You should upgrade to 0.9.16RC2

Going from person tab to org tab is fast (e.g. normal) but switching back to person tab takes waaaay too much time and the CPU gets hit 99% by mysql.

I updated a .14.001 install with about 120 contacts to latest .16 cvs
When I access the updated addressbook, the CPU usage hits 99% for about 10 seconds used by mysql! just to display 15 contacts.

Mysql version: mysql-3.23.49-3
