After an apt-get dist-upgrade, GRUB no longer boots on PPC64 machines. There is a growing number of reports about this on the Debian powerpc mailing list.

The affected Debian package version is 2.12-7

If someone more familiar with the GNU GRUB code could look at this I'd be grateful. Obviously being unable to boot is a big regression in terms of bugs.
