I don't understand your comment.  Do you want me to change something in the error message?

thanks for your comment.

Your comment translated instead of the error message.

"CTABLES supports categorical and scale variables and allows them to be nested within each other but only in certain ways."

This comes from error messages in the CTABLES procedure. CTABLES supports categorical and scale variables and allows them to be nested within each other but only in certain ways.  In this case, this is part of a collection of error messages that are issued together, like this:

ctables.sps:97.16-97.26: error: CTABLES: Cannot nest scale variables.
   97 | CTABLES /TABLE qn20 > qnd1.
      |                ^~~~~~~~~~~

ctables.sps:97.16-97.19: note: CTABLES: This is an outer scale variable.
   97 | CTABLES /TABLE qn20 > qnd1.
      |                ^~~~

ctables.sps:97.23-97.26: note: CTABLES: This is an inner scale variable.
   97 | CTABLES /TABLE qn20 > qnd1.
      |                       ^~~~

Never heard of "inner scale variable".

I tried google search only the po file of pspp founds.

So i would like as translator and statistician to learn what means "inner scale variable" in order to translate it in the right manner.

I think this is some typo or fast type error?
