there is already an option, in the help for this. Doing it implicit may lead to incorrect branches - which are then around forever.

I did a tla import only to get a message saying that the tree was locked.
The report was not really what happened; I made a typo between the naming of tla archive-setup and tla init-tree.

I want to suggest that the archive-setup be implicitly done on an import to avoid this problem.
