Mon 07 Aug 2023 02:33:18 PM UTC, comment #9: I believe this is not frequently used by others. The reason to use a custom keyboard layout is to disable Alt+Latin shortcuts in Mac OS. I end up not using custom keyboard layout separately from Sogou, and it's ok for my workflow. You may close this bug.

Fri 09 Dec 2022 12:54:13 PM UTC, comment #7: It turns out the problem occurs if the layout is used in my custom input method: Sogou input method. If I use the layout as a standalone input method, then the problem is gone. |

Fri 09 Dec 2022 12:35:16 PM UTC, comment #6: In fact, TeXmacs crashes if text is input in any diaglog. It turns out the problem is caused by a custom keyboard layout, which is attached for reference. |

Mon 05 Dec 2022 08:14:46 PM UTC, comment #1: When inserting animated Gif in Linux, TeXmacs does not crash (However, TeXmacs only displays the first frame. pdf export is static too -- I wasn't expecting differently, though latex seems able to produce pdfs with dynamic content).

When inserting GIF animations, TeXmacs crashes as soon as there I type a non-number character in the width input field. |
