There is an issue with Cantarell fonts not rendering in various platforms.

We have migrated all reports to GNU Free Fonts - FreeSans

I would need the generated PDF, not the template.
Thanks Tumashu!

QRCodes and embedded pictures work well (see https://i.imgur.com/rthma3N.png)

Is just the fonts, so it might be related to the installed fonts in the system that are used to generate the PDF.

I use libreoffice-gtk3 instead of libreoffice-qt5, relatorio 0.9.3 works well too.

Thank you, Tumashu!

Great info... before I saw your email I downgraded to LibreOffice 7.0, and, of course, I could reproduce the issue :D

We'll keep checking..

Seem to work in my machine.

Python 3.9.2
relatorio                    0.9.2
Genshi                       0.7.5
libreoffice                  7.0.4.2

Tryton and GH install the news code.

Hello, community!

In the latest dev version, we're encountering issues rendering reports using the FODT format. Basically, the text is there, but it won't show (both in ODT and PDF outputs). You can copy it though, and if you open it with LibreOffice Draw, it shows just fine.

The binary format (ODT) renders well.

Both Axel and I have encountered the issue in openSUSE tumbleweed and Arch linux respectively.

Currently using:
Python 3.10
Genshi: 0.7.5
Relatorio: 0.9.3
Tryton 6.0.x
GH dev 3.9 (upcoming 4.0)

As I posted on the GH Matrix space message [1], working versions of the involved components are:

Python 3.6
genshi: 0.7.3
relatorio: 0.9.3
GH: 3.8.x
Tryton: 5.0.x

I did downgrade relatorio and genshi to meet the working versions, but the problem persists.

@Tumashu: I think you're using Debian for testing the latest GH HMIS component... and it seems like reports are rendering OK on your box. Can you confirm that reports are rendering OK in your case? ALso, please provide the versions of this components, including LibreOffice.
