Corresponding source code
This appears to be a custom modification to the STUMP/WebSTUMP installation on the B8MB hosting account. The stock codebase does not include any spellchecking.
Closing this bug, as the problem isn't in the STUMP code. I also seem to recall that we've since disabled the spellchecker for comp.ai anyway, as it was rejecting valid articles just because they had some URLs and technical jargon in them, while not actually doing much to filter out spam.
