This is the reason I re-wrote ACL. Its just going to take time to get things converted over.

Thanks for you views on this problem. This is a known issue which will be fixed in 0.9.18 release, as it requires major work.

Is it a feature or a bug? Every version of phpgroupware sucks in managing ACL user and group permissions to both addressbook and calendar. You CAN manage phpgroupware to show only these groups or users in the drop-down box who allowed reading access to ypur special calendar.

But YOU CANNOT manage phpgroupware to do right if you want NO WRITING ACCESS OR CHANGING OR DELETING of entries in the calendar!!!

NO MATTER what permissions you set neither as admin nor in groups nor in individual preferences effect the PARTICIPANTS!

You can allways write to everybody. That is the reason why phpgroupware can simply NOT BE USED in a professional environment!

What a pity ;-(
