First run 'nano --ignore README' and verify that <Ctrl+Shift+Left> and <Ctrl+Shift+Right> work and mark/select/highlight the text a word at a time. Then exit and run:

nano --ignore --rebindkeypad README

and see how all combinations of <Ctrl+Shift+Arrow> move one word backwards without marking/selecting/highlighting anything.
