I intend to make all of these changes in the next release of Unifont except for the following.

In the "brackets" group, the floor and ceiling operators need only sit on the baseline, not extend below it. Same for brackets, although the pointed brackets extend one pixel below the baseline to have a pointed center.

In the "elements" group, the first element symbol, U+2208, is used in the PSF APL font build and the sizing of all of those glyphs was reviewed by APL users and a couple of developers of APL interpreters/compilers; I do not want to change its size. Because of that, the element glyphs in the range U+2208..U+220D are staying the same. Some of the relation glyphs in U+22F2..U+22FF have details in their middle that require added height, so I am leaving those as they are to allow resolving that detail.

In the "other operators" group, U+2223 and U+2224 have vertical strokes that are two pixels wide so that U+2223 will not be mistaken for the ASCII vertical bar, U+007C. For consistency, U+2AEE will be made a mirror image of the current U+2224.

In the "other symbols" group, U+2205 EMPTY SET is in the PSF APL console font and I do not want to remove it from there, so it must remain single-width. So that glyph will stay as is, but the other changes will be applied.

In the early days of APL, its character set was restricted to what fit on the APL IBM type ball. Modern APL implementations support Unicode. I went through the glyphs that appear in the PSF console font with APL users at the time. In addition, that font has now been released for over four years and many people are using it as a console font who are not even using APL. Those glyphs must be single-width, so I do not want to change the widths of those existing glyphs. The same goes for the geometrical shapes in bug report 51971.

If an arrow is not a mirror image of another arrow when it should be, that is a bug and I will fix it. I did go through the arrows and extension lines in the past though, and do not want to make significant changes to them. I got them to line up in conjunction with people who were using them in documents and wanted to be able to extend arrows, so they can extend to the end of a charcell block.

I will go over these for a future release.

Most of these characters are not used in APL. Many of these suggestions are related to internal consistency within the font (e.g. the left and right versions of a certain kind of arrow should be mirror images) so should not require checking any other packages. A few of these suggestions are unambiguous bug fixes.

With these glyphs and the geometrical glyphs, my main focus was on their having consistently aligned arrow glyphs and the other glyphs looking acceptable when used for APL programming using several APL packages. I checked those glyphs with those APL packages extensively and I do not want to go through that again. So unless something is a real bug, I would prefer not to change any of these glyphs.
