This is true, but it is definitely not a bug: it is by design of the style, which admitedly some people may not like. FYI plain Latex articles behave the same.

The good thing is that if you wish, you can create your own style to have sections left-aligned.

Sections are justified in article-style and maybe in other styles. This looks bad when you have a headline with two lines. I think they should align to the left.
