U+E04F TENGWAR SIGN DOUBLE LEFT CURL is upside-down. Otherwise it looks good.

David,

Actually I meant both Tengwar and Cirth. If either CSUR chart has been updated from an earlier version, I will have to switch over to the new arrangement in the future and make an announcement to that effect. In that case, this could be a final release for the old arrangement.

How is the attached version?

By “Tengwar” did you mean “Cirth”?

Tengwar following an old version of the CSUR reference poses a problem. I do not know if I will have time to update it for the next release.

I also added the Kinya digit zero as a space character.

David,

The creator of Kinya had digits for 10 and 11, which were omitted somehow from the CSUR page. Attached is a GIF file from his website, which now seems long gone. I was able to retrieve it on the Wayback Machine in 2014 but now cannot even do that.

Andrew Miller's column U+E1Ax was drawn based upon this chart.

David,

I will check those glyphs against what is in the charts on Michael Everson's CSUR page.

On the Kinya glyphs, I will look into their history. I think when Andrew Miller drew them he also noticed that there was one glyph that was missing from the composed Kinya syllables in Plane 15. If I recall correctly, we left the mapping to match what was in the CSUR.

Thank you,

Paul Hardy

In Tengwar, U+E031 TENGWAR LETTER STEMLESS VALA should look like U+E015 TENGWAR LETTER VALA without the stem: it should not have a descender.

U+E04F TENGWAR SIGN DOUBLE LEFT CURL should be above its base, not below.

U+E050 TENGWAR SIGN NASALIZER through U+E055 TENGWAR SIGN YANTA ABOVE, U+E059 TENGWAR SIGN COMBINING SA-RINCE, and U+E07D TENGWAR DUODECIMAL LEAST SIGNIFICANT DIGIT MARK should all be combining characters.

U+E058 TENGWAR SIGN SA-RINCE ENDING and U+E06C TENGWAR THORIN EXCLAMATION MARK should be spacing.

In Cirth, U+E0BC CIRTH LETTER KHUZDUL SCHWA is mirrored.

The encoding is that of 1997 but there is a newer version from 2000.

The Kinya characters in column U+E1Ax don’t match the CSUR encoding.

In Visible Speech, U+E7E2 VISIBLE SPEECH GLIDE LETTER LIP AND BACK is shorter than U+E7E1 VISIBLE SPEECH GLIDE LETTER LIP.
