Yes I know, as said by Axel, it's just different representation.

It's easy to fix, but I left it this way on purpose - on assumption that some applications may already be checking screen version number assuming it's encoded this way.

As to not confuse users with having two versioning schemas in v4, this will be changed when v5 is released (it's already fixed on master branch).

Anyway, thanks for report.

Well, if you parse every string of digits (i.e. everything except the dots) as often done with version numbers which have more than one dot, 4.05.01 and 4.5.1 are the same version number, just two different representations (with and without leading zeros for minor and micro version).

It though indeed might be occassionally confusing or even misleading if one representation is used on the website, the tar ball and in the documentation and another one inside the program.
