To reproduce, run: echo stuff >"abc
def".  And run: echo something >"klm
def".  Then run 'nano klm*' and type:
^O <Home> <Del> <Del> <Del> abc <Enter>.
Type Y for the 'different name' question.
Now see how the prompt bar is spread over two lines:

File "abc
def" exists; OVERWRITE?

Expected behavior: an embedded newline in a filename should be represented as a ^J also in this case.
