I also noticed problems while importing with 0.10.4-g50f7b7 (pspp-20160927-daily) in Win 8.1. Please try older PSPP_2016-07-14_daily

I figured out the file was too big. Why is there such a small limit on the size of the file to import? It makes the program effectively unusable.

IN PSPPIRE (PSPP+GUI)I have tried importing text, and csv files and the drop down menus do not appear. Then I tried using ods files, the drop down menus appear but then the program crashes every time.

Using version GNU pspp 0.10.4-g50f7b7 (pspp-20160927-daily-64bits-setup.exe) on a windows 10 as well as Windows 7 computer.

(Note: upload size limit is set to 16384 kB, after insertion of the required escape characters.)
