Please, do not send your bug reports as a Word document. If they help to understand the problem, upload your screenshots to the bug tracker directly (instead of embedding them in the *.docx-file) and add a short description of what you wanted to do and what error occured (preferably with some code to reproduce the issue). This is basically the text that you added in the docx-file.

It sometimes is difficult to navigate the bug tracker. If you cannot find what you are looking for, please file a "good" bug report. If somebody recognizes the bug, your report might be closed as a duplicate pointing you to the correct one. However, before opening a new report, please do the effort (as you did) and try to search the tracker to help reduce the effort for others.

The issue you are observing might be related to the one in bug #49755. At least what you are seeing resembles very much to what I see in that bug.

Could you please run the following lines after you reproduced the issue and post the results here:

Also, please provide a minimal working example with steps to reproduce if possible.

The steps of what I do is in the word document.

Can someone explain to me how I make sure my observation is unique, it seems impossible to specify keywords to get a specific bug e.g plot and there are 1500 results in the bug list so I think we can help ourselves more by having the instructions in the octave page and here how to be more specific otherwise in the search box you type a word like plot and it brings up projet or give back a null result.
I searched in bugs with the key words
plot octave malfunction, and nothing came up.

Also if I can help identify the source with the debugging (I am not a programmer and easily complicate things, is there like a bug file report when things happen that we can turn on for professionals, that we can send to you guys?)

Have a good day
Harry
