--pipepart --round-robin is not really round-robin: It computes --block as filesize/jobslots.

This also means that it is possible to --keep-order.

To make this easier for the user to understand, get rid of the --round-robin and use --block -1 instead:

parallel --pipepart -a file --block -1 my_cmd

Maybe the number should determine how many blocks per jobslot you want:

# One jobs per jobslot = --roundrobin today
parallel --pipepart -a file --block -1 my_cmd

# 10 jobs per jobslot = leave out --block today
parallel --pipepart -a file --block -10 my_cmd
