That's what I thought. We do this because Matlab does it. Changing group to Matlab Compatibility and marking as invalid, since we are already compatible.

Note that I had to change double quotes to single quotes for running in ML and when you apply this change Octave has the exact same result as ML.

Just to make sure this isn't something we are doing for Matlab compatibility, can you run the same test code in Matlab and report the results?

It seems the output is wrong.
the example

shouldn't it provide aligned T and SP, but SP always has an empty at the beginning
